James Robinson's stylish production transports audiences to Catfish Row on The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess returns to the Met for the first time since 1990, in a new production directed by James Robinson in his company debut.

It is the second collaboration between Davis and Evans and has garnered much critical acclaim since its release answered: Bess emerges into the courtyard, free of the fever.
